NOVICE CATEGORY

This category is for newer performers ready to get on the solo stage under stage lights!

​

Please note the registration in Novice DOES NOT INCLUDE A REHEARSAL BLOCK. Novice participants will not be permitted to include motor lift cues in their routine; their acts must remain static. On the aerial hoop participants will only be lifted to a height that allows their feet to clear the mat by no more than 6”. On the aerial silks participants will be required to remain under 18’ for the duration of their routine.

Paid registrations received before October 31 will receive 1 discounted  ticket to the World Circus Arts Championships.

Personalized feedback from 2 judges

-Novice competitors Max TIME: 2 1/2 minutes and includes starting and ending bows.  Deductions will be taken if bows or coming off the equipment makes you go over your allotted time.

-In Novice, only solos are permitted in the following disciplines: Aerial Hoop, Aerial Silks, Juggling, Contortion, Object Manipulation)  NO NECK HANGS!

SOLO - $170 (2 acts receive 10% off both, 3 acts receive 15% off all 3 acts)

No Duo, Trio or group acts allowed.
